Topic: Beatgrid Next lvl.. bpm stability - Page: 1
while a lot of good work has been done with betgrid and now we know the bpm... I have various non-stop mixes, live or even songs where... while it starts at 90 bpm then it becomes 88 then 87 then 90 again etc... it would be very nice if there could be bpm stability where it would keep the bpm constant at 90.

when we analyze a song, or non stom mix or live... and it shows us that the bpm is not stable, that is... it starts at 90 bpm, along the way it becomes 87 then 90 again... it becomes automatic and stabilizes the song at 90 bpm from beginning to end... do you understand now?
 
That is indeed what the bpm stabilizer does

Yesterday I did the upgrade and it doesn't show the lock on the decks... I have it set to on but... I put songs in the new way and while the song was 154 bpm it became 160 then 147 and I couldn't mix with the next song... maybe it's a bug?
 
I finally had a bag... now there was a new update and the padlocks appeared and it fixed the problem.
Yesterday the locks weren't there, today when I opened the vdj it fixed it!

I opened the laptop to take a video to show you the problem and it was fixed! Now it's perfect 😁😍
 
but now I discovered another problem.... I hear the bpm changing... I hear it starting fast and then I hear the rpms slowly dropping and then I hear the rpms running... it sounds bad

This is logical... since you are using a warping you will hear pitch differences...

as i told you, you cannot do anything about it ...it is logical... that why in the first place this feature was introduced to be used during the transition...
when in general deal with warping (bpm stabilize) you ignore applying it in more that one track at once, and if you do , you re trying not to have huge bpm differences between them..

 
It took me a while to figure out how it works but I did... but it's not for all songs... in general it does a good job but not for everything!

If a track has a dramatic tempo change that is very familiar to our ears, then using the lock will remove the change and make the track sound "strange". The lock is best used to remove small variations (drifting).

I guess if you really wanted to stabilize a track except for a certain part, you could use the POI Editor to remove the lock for just that section.

yeah ok it took me a while to figure it out... although the truth is that I started with difficult songs... I got into deep water on the first day 😁😁
