Is it possible that instead of matching the beats perferctly over each other, you could match the beats of the second track precisly in the half of the beats of the first track????? ( I hope you kinda understand what I'm saying, it's hard to explain for me ). That way you should get some cool effect, take for example Mauro Picotto - Freetown ... there you here what I'm talking about. If you listen to it you should pay attention to the MID not the bases cos they are constant, only mid changes of rythm.

What you're referring to is the backbeat, and I agree. A feature that would allow you to determine which count (out of 4/4) to start on. But it's really not that hard to do. You just have to look at the wave graph and beat match manually using the hourglass fader. and then press play when you want it to start. I do similar things that way.
