I am having an issue on both of my computers. I set the historyDelay to 30 seconds and once i shut down and restart vdj, it goes back to 1 second. Never had this issue before. Probably something with the last update maybe.

you don't need to bump posts just because you don't think it was answered as quickly as you thought it should be. many of us have things like lives, jobs, appointments, etc.
doubtful that it's associated with an update because I can't replicate on desktop or laptop.
it could however be a permissions issue if on a mac or win11 pc, or could be because the computer hasn't had time to properly shut down and save it's last save-state. and depending on what's running on the computer - including in background processes) that can take longer than you think.
