Topic: Has Lyrics value
I noticed some tracks after loading to a deck will have lyrics available, however the 'Has Lyrics' column remains blank in the browser. It does not change to 'Yes' like most other songs will.

Any idea why it reflects this way and does 'Has Lyrics' does not change?

Bump on this post. As I load more tracks to process the lyrics, I am seeing 100s of songs have lyrics a ailable but for some reason the 'has lyrics' browser column remains blank.

Any idea why that is?
 
The only possible reason I've found is duplicates.
If you have a song multiple times, only the first one you load might get the has lyrics flag, even though it will correctly use the same lyrics for the other copies.
 
thanks Adion, that could be it. I spot checked a few tracks and there are other copies saved and only 1 will have the Has Lyrics flagged as yes.

Why would it only show for one of them though? They all have the lyrics saved so would think they should all show as having lyrics regardless how many different ones are saved? Is this something that could be enhanced? Otherwise you would need to opent he lyrics editor to see if actually saved or not.

Same thing could be said for BPM, if the track is already scanned for BPM it's still needed to report the BPM on all instances of that track.
 
@Adion - any chance an enhancement can be made to allow the Has Lyrics to return yes for all copies of the song which does in fact have lyrics available?
