A feature where you can create a list of artist, genre, and song titles for a Do not play list that gives you a warning when you try to load them, rather than a color filter.

If you ignored the colour and didn't use an excluded quick filter why would you pay attention to a warning?
I could write a script that turns vdj off for a few days if a DNP track is attempted.

I also think this feature would be helpful. I would be interested in giving a list of artists and or songs that should be marked as do not play BUT only have this filter apply for a short period of time. (think weddings) Right now I have to create quick filters for each but being able to import a csv or paste a list would be very helpful.

You can do this:
Doing those steps and ensuring the quick filter button is activated would make sure the DoNotPlay songs aren't even listed when looking through any folder of songs in the browser, and when searching.
After the night is done, go back to the virtuald folder holding those songs, and remove the tag from the User 1 field, then delete the folder.
Note: this will only work with pre-tagged tracks (assuming you are collecting songs for a wedding night I would say that should cover 95% of it, the others would come in the fly through streaming - you can probably remember some details to choose not play)
- Add all don't play songs to a virtual folder (any songs generalized to a particular field, you can find with a filter folder to add there)
- Select all of the songs in the folder and add a tag, (e.g. #DoNotPlay) to the User 1 or User 2 field via the down in the Info Panel.
- Create a quick filter button that matches songs without that tag:
User 1 doesn't contain #DoNotPlay - At the venue, make sure that quick filtet button is always selected while searching for tracks and playing.
