Topic: karaoke_clear no longer works
I was trying to map a touch skin button to clear the karaoke list and noticed action="karaoke_clear" no longer clears the karaoke list. action="sidelist_clear" and action="automix_clear" works though. Is there a reason for this? Thanks.

What do you mean by "no longer" ?
karaoke_clear is not currently a vdj script verb, so I don't think it could ever have worked

I got that command when I was googling playlist clearing commands, not sure why that came up then. Why wouldn't there be a verb to clear the karaoke playlist but there's verbs for the other 2 lists??????
 
Because apparently no one needed it until now :p
 
Is there then a workaround I could apply like a button I can add to load a saved blank playlist? The reason for this is the KJ work station doesn't allow right click functions, so right clicking to delete large amounts of files isn't an option. So when the host accidentally adds a bunch of karaoke songs by mistake the only option is to delete each one, one at a time.

Ctrl+A to select all, then press delete key

This was more for touch screen skins. If karaoke is running on a kiosk like at a party etc, some are not that tech savy
 
karaoke_clear will be available in the next update
