thanks. did they stop doing the home plus?
i don't need unlimited devices as i don't plan on changing my controller

Yes. Select controllers work with home license, but the S4 isn’t one of them.

You will need a Pro license.

thank you for clarifying that

Get the pro infinity, its worth it. The cintrollers you will pribably eventually wanna upgrade and it will always work with any.

Still there just in the smaller print under the other options.

That smaller font that shows buy once, only appears if you are on the vdj website from a computer not on a cellphone. I just realized that

Shows on iPhone.

I tried looking for ir on my android evwn with View as Desktop enabled and it doesnt show. Shoyldnt be an issue though, since when you are looking to buy VDJ you will need to do it from your laptop anyway. Im just glad the option is there. All these subscription based models are a cancer.

Personally I disagree a little.

Subscription models allow for a steady income stream allowing for future development. The key is pricing your subscription model fairly, which I think VDJ do well.

I would never subscribe for any software that is priced too high. But I do subscribe to some software from smaller companies that is important to me.

The subscription model for a working DJ is a drop in the ocean. IMO.
It is great the out right version is still available, but I have no issue with well priced and worthwhile subscription model.

Yeah I'm with Dan - if the sub price is reasonable, and there's also an option to buy outright, people can take their pick.

It's not always the case though. Some companies now are subscription only, with no option to buy. Some make certain features available only to subscribers.

Algoriddim are sub only - but the price is really low, and I believe those who once had a permanent license can still use the software.
