So i dj in VRChat at places with friends. im not making money on it and im just doing it for the fun of it,
but the recent addition of the Audio branding is ruining the experience. i dont have the money to purchase a license or want to. i know it helps to build the application but the prices in australia are nuts for it. i already went out of my way saving pay check to pay check just to get a controller and the licenses are making it difficult to enjoy even using it. i really wish i had a way to just enjoy it again. i love mixing music for my friends in VR and some say i have some talent but it doesnt help pay the bills or give me the drive to even spend the money on a license. anyone know what i can do in this situation that might get rid of the audio branding without having to pay monthly for something that i already cant afford?

So you never paid anything at all for VDJ?

If you're using something free and the terms of the licence change then it's a case of paying for the licence you require or finding other software to do the job. that's the reality of it unfortunately.

Completely illegal to use the free version for audience benefit.
VDJ should block all third party access for Tidal, Deezer etc in the free version , there are too many licence options anyway.
I know a professional DJ who still uses VDJ free, and earns a living from it, the free version should only work for 90 mins then should brick.

If you can't afford paid software, or can't bear their limitation, find a free alternative.
It's as simple as that, and the good news is that it exists for DJing.
