I use DJ Event Planner which will export my clients' playlists in M3U format. Is there a way I can open that playlist file in Virtual DJ? I can get it to work if I first convert it to a .txt file, but that takes a few extra steps. When I import as .txt it shows me the music note icon next to the songs it found on my local hard drive and then the search icon for songs it couldn't find. I'm trying to get that same end result but brining straight in via M3U files.
Thanks!
Thanks!

drop the m3u into sidelist.

I just tried dragging into the sidelist, but that isn't working for me. As I drag the file over, a box pops up on VDJ that says Add to Sidelist. It looks like it's going to work, but then when I release the mouse button to drop it, the tracks do not appear in the sidelist.
The playlists I'm dragging over from DJ Event Planner are based on songs from their default music library or from Spotify. I'm not dragging over the actual audio files, and I may not have some of the songs on the playlist. Would that cause it not to work? I'm really just trying to get the list of songs pulled over, and then I can work in VDJ to locate any that were not found in my library.
