Hi All, I run Windows 11 home with a Roland dj808 controller. Like many on here I customize loads of settings on the brilliant vdj. However, despite the fact I have set the setting to reset stems on new song load, it leaves on any stems I was using on the last track and doesn't reset. I use my pads for stems and I have tried reset on pads and reset on all in options and it never does. Can be really annoying when you're mixing/doing Radio shows and a song starts with an element of stem missing! Hope someone can help.

To troubleshoot:
1) Think you mentioned you have the setting > option > resetStemsOnLoad ... All
2) next to check is your Keyboard ONSONGLOAD mapping.
what do you have mapped there ?
3) test without controller connected.
4) and the other possibility to try is to.. (to start with new default settings)
close VDJ ..
go to your home folder..
Rename the file settings.xml
restart VDJ, then change the above setting to "ALL" and see if that works.
if still not resetting stems on load.. then close VDJ.. delete the new settings.xml file and revert the naming of the old settings.xml
PS I cannot reproduce your stated issue.
