That would depend if the controller is still class compliant. Perhaps a question for Denon rather than here.
Not sure why you'd want a bang up to date laptop but use a 13 year old controller with it though ........

As I said I don't know. These controllers were developed in 2011 for Intel silicon both on Mac and PC. Only Denon themselves will be able to tell you if they will work on Apple silicon.
There are a few people on here still using them but not many so you may wait for a while to get a reply.
