I have FabFilter Pro-C2 as an Master Effect plugin. I want to use the FabFilter MIDI learn function to control it with an Akai LPD8.
The LPD8 sends MIDI commands inside VDJ, but the FabFilter doesn't receive the commands from the LPD8.
Anyone has experience with this kind (or similar) configuration?
Please give me some hints, tips or links. If i want the impossible please tell me also ;-)
Thanks in advance.
PS: i have an Pro infinity license.

I guess it's a VST effect, right ?
The correct way to "map" it is:
1) Open settings and select AKAI LPD8
2) Move a control
3) Click it's name
4) Remap the action to:
deck master effect_slider 'FabFilter Pro-C2' 1
5) Save the mapper
6) Move the control on AKAI
7) Check which function (slider or button) respond on your effect
8) Change slider number until you find the one you seek
9) Repeat for rest controls
PS:VirtualDJ cannot pass MIDI values from a controller directly to a plug-in.
However all functions of VST plug-ins that are exposed as sliders and buttons can be controlled with the way mentioned above

You can go to options->controllers in VirtualDJ, right-click the LPD8 and select Midi To VST.

This worked! I'm a happy man.
It is indeed a (studio) VST 32bit multiband compressor plugin.
Thanks for the support.
