i'm not a pro. I don't DJ or VJ. My friend has like 8 hours of cheesy B movies all cut up weird with music over it. He's having a Halloween party and he wanted me to find a way to put visualizations over the top of it. I found this software but I'm not paying $300 for something I'm only gonna use once, even if playing around with the free version has been pretty neat so far.
So I need something to perform a very singular task. We don't need any kind of control. Just a video with audio plays and we put visuals over the top of it so he can point a projector at the big blank wall so it doesn't look so blank while everyone is preparing themselves to have a great night or make some really bad choices. I'm looking to spend about free.99 and never even attempt to do something so far outside my wheelhouse ever again.

Sweet thanks. A much steeper learning curve but it's in my budget.
