Discussion about Numark Mixtrack Platinum Fix
Posted Mon 03 Jul 17 @ 11:45 am
Hi, I downloaded it and installed it, but nothing changes: I have always humm noise and the LEDs are always dimmed.
What do I have to do after the installation? I see this new file : ''Force Numark mixtrack platinum'' in the Devices folder. How can I use it?
Thank's for your help, Best regards, Christian

I have a virtualDJ plus license. Should I have a virtual DJ pro license for use custom devices files?
With SeratoDJ I have almost no humm noise, but inactive leds cue/loop pads are off.

Makes sense that when the leds are off there is no humm. As I understand it, it's a bug in the firmware of the unit that the leds cause humm

Yes exactly, or may be hardware: the power supply of the controller not well filtered

Yes exactly, or may be hardware: the power supply of the controller not well filtered .. SeratoDJ use less dimmed LEDs. Normally this addon fixes this problem using less dimmed leds, but I can't found the way to use this addon. At this time I use the audio card of the PC: no humm, but I would prefer to use the audio card of the controller ...

At this time Numark recognized this problem as a hardware fault. It can be repaired under warranty by sending it to their service center.

That's good news. and thank you for sharing this info.
Kudos to Numark - despite the delay - for acknowledging the problem and offering a solution.

You need to post in English here (or use the German area).
Did you not read the description? This download will not be "displayed anywhere" because it's a fix for a hum problem - as stated in the description.

Hey team, Do i need to install this fix for my Numark Mixtrack Platinum, I do get the error on deck 2 but its random and no idea why i get it, track plays fine and no hum, but surely VDJ updates would of implemented over successive updates maybe?? Query because i dont want to install and create an issue with old Fix thats been fixed, if that makes any sense

Can I get clarification on what this custom map is for? I have a Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX. Is this supposed to be for that or for another model?

This device offers dimmed leds when Off. However, when many leds are Off (dimmed), there is a humm noise (could be some circuit failure). The "fix" is actually a Mapping definition in which the "Off" state is completely Off for the leds, so eliminates the humm noise.
If for some reason you dont get this humm noise, then this "fix" is not for you.
