What kind of resource editors does everyone use? Looking for a poll and ideas of what I can do if I want to do this more often. Creating images and creating resource files (.png with .xml)
There are plenty of art applications free and paid that can get coordinates of images but most are missing 2 things combined.
For example the image editor GIMP has such options in the tool panel during rectangle selection: (Position(x,y) & Size (w,h)
I'm especially looking for something that allows you to make multiple selections and when you're done selecting all your objects, then it puts it into an xml file. (Now wouldn't that be cool) If not then one day I might create something like that.

- X,Y coordinates of the Position relative to the background image of the object (rectangle, circle etc.)
- Size of the Object selected (w,h if applicable)
