And wanted to ask....
the slip_release creates in interesting situation when there are also loops.
and say the slip_release is set to 4bt and the Stem Split is triggered within the last 4 beats of say a 32bt loop the play head will loop, (be captured by the loop) and slip indicator will continue to the end of the track ( and the play head, will never catching the slip pointer, unless the the loop is removed)
And understand the above behavior, and is what is wanted when using loops temporarily, yet, it would also be useful if in the above case, that the slip indicator would also loop, when slip_release is active.
Maybe have an option/setting for slip_mode.... SMART, where slip, also follows the loop if slip_release is active, else behaves as the usual slip.
I mention since if wishing to end a track, with say a 32bt loop and wishing to, NOT hear the vocals, that are past the loop's end point, then one will need to be careful when one is playing within the final loop of the track, when using slip_release (or this plugin).
Since as mentioned if the track is scratched (vinyl on) within the last 4bts, then the vocals beyond the loop's end will play, (till the end of the track, while the play head is kept in the loop), when one would like to only be listening/playing the 32 bt loop (of both the Vocals & Instru) as one mixes out into the next track.
