I think this comes down to me not understand the graphics API enough. I'll give yours a try.
 
You need to adapt to match with Adion code.
I just showed you my code to understand better the indexing of vertices.
 
Ok, so I've identified two issues I have 1, is that the second triangle is for some reason not drawing. And two where it is drawing I'm seeing no texture appear.
 
You may start with colored vertices (without textures), for example red color so you can be sure both triangles are ok.
 
I will give that a try, I just see the one black triangle, it is very out of my skillset so sorting it out has been difficult.
 
Just an update, we did finally get it to work through some outside help. It seems that the issue was the pixel shader not being compiled in properly and 2 frames not being copied back from touchdesigner as expected. These have both been resolved. Hoping this could be what quartz composer was for mac.
