I just recently installed the latest version b7482 and everythings working fine over here.
 
I am trialing VDJ with D2s as an alternative to Traktor. Started on my mapping journey but stuck on the first command 🤦‍♂️.

I'm wanting to select the deck from the top right FX buttons like my current mapping allows me too. DECK and the "invert_controllers" action obviously updates the screens well but only flicks between A/C decks. My numerous attempts to select a specific Deck using "FX_SELECT_x" Buttons and have the D2 screen reflect my selection have failed.

Anyone got any idea on how I could achieve such a thing? Thanks heaps
 
Does anyone else notice there is a small jitter on the small waveform while the track is playing, even on the default skin?

It's small so you can ignore it, but I tried to modify the skin (I put cue point numbers on the small waveform), and the jitter got a lot worse.

Does everybody see it? Anybody who knows what is causing it?

If anybody wants to remove the jitter, change this line

to
<songpos class="songpos" x="0" y="+55+5+40"/>
 
Is It possible to change the waveform colors to look more like Traktor Pro or Pioneer inspired Waveforms?
 
Question on the december update, could I get the briefest overview in the changes.
I've just made a modification for somebody [I dl'd the skin from the site] and I couldn't figure out his picture didn't marry up with the skin xml, then I spotted the update was recent.

I might yet have to modify his older version if he doesn't like the update, so was there anything bugfixy or was it all cosmetic changes?
 
Ah not to worry^, Guy is happy and the photo he had shown me was just from online, so the layout differences I was seeing make sense [and don't matter]

I posted this in the skins forum but just remembered the dedicated D2 forum. So below is my issue, it looks like it's been raised before, did anyone resolve it for Mac users?

About 5 times out of 10, when i start up my D2s, the screens don't recognise VDJ, the buttons all work but the screens get stuck on showing the original Traktor message. It makes not difference that I can tell if VDJ is started before the D2s or after.

Once I have one D2 running if i then start the second it will always get stuck on the traktor screen, the buttons will work.

I'm running VDJ v2026-m b9295, macbook 2021 M1 Tahoe 26.5, D2s firmware upto date. Although these issues have been happening with older versions of software.

I've tried having both decks connected to seperate usb ports, daisy chained, through a powered hub and it still happens.

Does anyone know a fix for this? Does it happen to screens on other devices?
