Description is incomplete. Is this only for windows or a mac version is coming soon?

This program is Windows only.
I don't have the equipment to write MAC programms, sorry.

EDIT: The description got cut of, so here is the full description:

PlaylistFixer 8 is fixing your playlists and history files after you moved some files and VirtualDJ can't find them anymore. It is basically using the filename to find the file, but if it findes more than one file with the same name, it takes the one with the higher play count.

Please note: If you renamed your files the PlaylistFixer is not able to find them.

Hello PatchN,

It doesn't open on my PC (windows10)

What do you mean?
Does is not open at all or open and close very quickly?

It is meant to open and run in a console window. So no grafical user interface.

It doesn't open at all

Strange and I can't reproduce it.
Does it show up in the taskmanager?

It was a windows problem.
All is fine now

can i uninstall this tool?

Sure. Just delete the PlaylistFixer8.exe.
There are no other connections or dependecies.

Could the option be added to rebuild virtual folders (The red folders)
as i move files around my system, it seems any files i add to a virtual folder just disappear

In theory, yes, it is possible.

But if VDJ does not update the vFolders if you move the files via VDJ browser, then I consider this a bug and should be reported.

Hi, I'm having trouble installing this. I can't seem to find the Mac version to download. Any suggestions?

There is no Mac version I'm afraid.
Sorry

How does this work? all mine says is cannot find file. am i supposed to put the EXE in a specific folder?

my norton antivirus removed the file it said it was not safe

It is 100% safe and it was checked by VDJ staff.
It is just a false positive.

it does not work. My files still don't show up.

What does the output in the console window say?

Nice, thank you!

The batch process that VDJ has been missing, cumbersome to locate a track one at a time. Traktor had similar ages ago as I remember.
Playlist Fixer is currently mending my history playlists from 2014. :))
