Hi,
I need some new pcs up and running, how are you guys getting along with Win 11 and VDJ. I've only every used Win10 Pro but all the new machines are now Win 11. Or has anyone rolled back to 10 from 11 after the 10 day period?

What is your DJ controller?
The inMusic-brand ones (Rane, Denon, m-audio, Akai etc.) all have a driver bug which is more of a problem in Windows 11 than it was in Windows 10. We'll introduce some changes in June for folks who want to use those and a few other older unsupported but functional controllers, and don't need any of the new MIDI features.

I have no issues running VDJ and Win11 on a MS Surface laptop, two different Dell laptops and a Dell desktop PC.

It's drivers for controllers that are the issue, not VDJ itself.

Microsoft don't make DJ controllers, therefore Microsoft do not make drivers for DJ controllers.

We have the workaround for the inMusic driver bug in Windows. It finished rolling out to everyone who is up-to-date a few days ago.
But if you unplug the inMusic device while it is open in an app, it will still lock up. That's why we're reintroducing the old MIDI stack for the people who don't need any of the new features, but do just need to keep DJ controllers stable.
That will roll out at the end of this month, and take 30 days to enable everywhere, so you're looking at end of July for that change, or mid-August if you are not up-to-date with updates.

Why can't InMusic just update their drivers?

"Why can't InMusic just update their drivers?"
That's a question for inMusic.
