I'm at a loss here. Been reading and watching videos for days on this. On my Rev 7 controller I want to disable shift_jog as when I am scratching on the left deck and use shift + 2ndary function for whatever, my scratch track starts skipping. I want to disable this functionality. I've replaced the action portion of the SHIFT_JOG with the word nothing, saved it, but it doesn't work. It seems like my custom mapping is being ignored.
Thanks

How do I get rid of this? It's really screwing up my workflow.

Change the SHIFT key script to just shift and then change SHIFT_JOG to nothing

It does not work. Can someone try this on a rev 7? I've edited the action setting of shift_jog and deleted everything and put in the word nothing and saved and it keeps coming back. I'm going to end up returning this rev7 if I can't get this fixed.
Please, help. I'll pay someone to help me fix this. PLEASE!!!!!!!

If it "keeps coming back" it means that your edits don't save. And this has nothing to do with the controller itself.
Are you using a MAC computer ?
Have you checked that VirtualDJ has all necessary permissions ?
If you change some random software setting, does the change stick, or it's lost after a restart of the software ?

It's not a mac, it's windows. I'm using win 11 pro and using an account that has full local admin privs

Be sure that ater you make an edit, you're using the edited mapping and not the default one.

How do I ensure that just go to shift jog on the left and then on the right choose the custom mapping?
